The Holland pattern may just be one of our favorite designs of all time.  This Dutch-inspired design speaks for itself with its soft colors and swirls that will brighten up any kitchen or bath.

It's classic Spring colors with a modern twist!  The Interlude collection is another design that offers bold shapes with softer hues that can work in a modern or traditional home.  You set the tone with this decorative tile!

The Lotus Collection offers all the Spring-iest and brightest color options while adding a contemporary mood with its unique pattern influenced by the Lotus flower.

The Talula collection is the perfect pattern for any modern space in your home.  We love seeing this tile cover the walls of a master bath or the walls of an open kitchen.  This symmetrical decorative tile will captivate your guests with its bold lines.

The Crystal Collection is a part of our in-stock line, Artisan Stone Tile, and offers 3 strong colorways that match perfectly with Pantone's Spring colors.  Keep things soft with the light blue or mix things up with the fiery red.

The Parasol Pattern will stop you in your tracks with its captivating design with its unique color choices and design that is influenced by tranquil Japanese umbrellas.

The Vecina collection features an eye-catching design paired with beautiful bold blues perfect for a bright and airy kitchen or bath.  This collection will have you feeling Spring vibes all year round.

In Honor of International Women's Day: Meet our Founder

In honor of International Woman's Day, we wanted to give you a little background on the founder of StoneImpressions, Melinda Earl.

In 1994, Melinda Earl, a single mother and trained painter, began uniting plaster, oils, china and cloth to produce textured still lifes in her garage. Always trying to improve, she began experimenting with transferring images onto stone. However, the known methods were extremely time-consuming, so she set out to find a better way. After four years of research and experiments, she developed a patented, hand-printing process and founded her first company, PhotoStone.

Here are some things you might not know about our founder:
1. Melinda first began experimenting with mixed media by incorporating together materials like cloth, plaster and paint to create still life paintings.

 2. It took 4 years and endless hours in her converted side garage to perfect her patented hand-printing process.

3.  In 1999 Melinda started her first business Photostone transferring photographs, including newborns, weddings, families, and nature, onto pieces of 8x10 stone to create stunning gifts and keepsakes.

4.  She expanded her business in 2001 and founded StoneImpressions.  She began with only 2 employees in a converted Quonset hut in San Diego left-over from WWII, and started to create custom murals of still lifes, wine musings and landscapes using different types of stone.

5. In October 2006, she flew to New York to compete against 40 other female entrepreneurs in American Express's “Count Me In” program.  She was one of the winners of the top “Make Mine A Million” award.

6. Melinda personally creates the majority of designs and images that go into the StoneImpressions’ catalogs.
